What Are Cavities?
Cavities occur when bacteria attacks tooth structure. The bacteria must be removed from a tooth and then filled with a Tooth Colored Filling.
Tooth-colored fillings offer excellent durability and resistance to fractures in small to medium-sized fillings, capable of withstanding the moderate pressure from the constant stress of chewing.
Tooth colored fillings can be used on either front or back teeth.
Tooth colored resins are also used to fix small chips and gaps in front teeth. Generally, an additional tooth structure does not need to be removed. Composite is added to the missing portion of the tooth and is matched to the existing portion of the tooth perfectly.
